#Amazinglocations – Le Gîte du Passant
Who has never dreamt of a winter wedding in the French Alps? With scenic mountains as a backdrop, the Gîte du Passant, an authentic and charming venue, will be just perfect for an original and cozy ceremony. I can’t wait to show you this incredible place!
Located in an alpine pasture, in a small isolated hamlet at an elevation of 1300m, the Gîte du Passant is an authentic farm built in 1887 with a mountain cabin mood. After a short walk to reach the chalet, you will be alone in the world in an exceptional place to celebrate your wedding.
The change of scenery is guaranteed and the setting, in the middle of nature, is incredible. Located in front of the Aravis mountain range, the view from the chalet is just breathtaking. You will be treating your guests to more than a wedding reception: they’ll be invited to a real original experience amid the snowy mountains.
Claire and Théo Seigneuric settled with their children in the Gîte du Passant in 2011 after twelve years spent on the Reunion Island and three years on a sailboat in the Indian Ocean. By conserving the magnificent 150 years old woodwork, they created a gem while preserving the authenticity of the place.
Always available, warm and friendly, they will welcome you with their great team to design with you an original and cozy wedding, in winter but also during the rest of the year, on the weekend or during the week. Around 100 guests can dine in a mountain cabin mood and 70 can stay for a night among the peaks.
If you dream of an authentic and charming French wedding, you will fall under the spell of the Gîte du Passant.
