#FrenchBride n°19 - Camille
What a classic and elegant wedding that took place in the Loire Valley with a très chic reception in the château de la Bourdaisière! The dazzling Camille tells you everything below, with the gorgeous pictures of Florence Dujarric. With an authentic and bright style, Florence will accompany you in French or in English for memorable pictures of you big day!
I met Pierre in Lille in January 2011 at the engineering school where we studied for three years. We were in the same project team. After graduation, we moved to Paris for our first job and ended up staying there for six years. In January 2019, we moved to Dijon as Pierre wanted to become a wine-maker. And now, I am pregnant and we are expecting our baby for October 2020!
Pierre popped the question on the 12th of January 2017, in Paris. It was a great evening, it started with a boat cruise on the Seine River followed by a diner at the restaurant located on the 2nd floor of the Eiffel tower, Le Jules Verne.
A French bride for you is…
For me, a French bride is a romantic princess.
Your dress and style
Since I was a child, I dreamt of having a princess wedding. I therefore chose a gorgeous white princess dress created by Rosa Clara, a Spanish designer.
Our wedding took place in a charming historical castle called château de la Bourdaisière, located near Tours in the heart of the Loire Valley.
It was a classic wedding. Our colors were dark blue, white, grey and pale pink and we decided to make the theme “Castles on the Loire” – the Loire is a river in central France famous for its Renaissance castles. Each table was adorned with a candlestick and roses.
The most wonderful moment of the day
The most wonderful moment was the civil ceremony at the town hall, which was the first part of the day. It was very emotional and I cried when I said “Oui”.
After the wedding, we flew to South Africa in November 2018. We had a wonderful time exploring Cape Town and visiting Kruger Park.
