#FrenchBride n°20 - Cyrielle
The shining Cyrielle said "Oui!" to Maxime in Burgundy, with an elegant reception at the château de Vallery. These magical and happy moments were captured with talent by Jeremy Bismuth. Cyrielle tells us everything below!
Maxime and I met for the fist time in a restaurant. We were dining with common friends, they introduced us – and it all started then!
The proposal took place in Val d’Isère, a charming and trendy ski resort in the French Alps. Maxime popped the question on the slopes!
Your dress and style
I chose a dress designed by Marie Laporte. Elegance, classic style and romantic spirit are her signature. My dress was made with lace and silk with a half-open back. I chose a long veil and gold shoes to complete my outfit. A friend did my hairdressing and I did my makeup.
Our wedding took place in the château de Vallery, a castle located in Burgundy, an hour and half from Paris. A true Renaissance masterpiece, the castle was designed by Pierre Lescot in the XVIth century.
The venue was already gorgeous and didn’t require much decoration. Tables were decorated with bunches of flowers. A friend of mine, who is also an artist, dealt with the decoration and especially designed the menu and the church book.
Just after the wedding, in October, we flew to Brazil. We spent a few days in Rio before exploring the Nordeste coastline: from Sao Lui to Fortaleza by boat and by car along the beaches.
